Our family bach provides a peaceful retreat in the picturesque coastal town of Riverton, New Zealand. With space for five guests, it combines minimalist, cosy furnishings with large windows and skylights that fill the space with natural light — it’s the perfect spot for a truly relaxing family getaway.

Our spacious deck is the perfect place to unwind while taking in stunning ocean views and the surrounding fields. Early risers will love the breathtaking sunrise.

Only a two-minute stroll through a native reserve to Mitchell’s Bay, and just a short walk to the Beach House restaurant. A quick five-minute drive to local shops.
Family Friendly
With a wide variety of toys, games, an under-deck play area, plus a spacious garden, there’s plenty of room for the little ones to have fun and explore.
AMENITIES
The bach features a compact yet fully equipped kitchen, perfect for all your cooking needs. The master bedroom offers a comfortable queen bed and a built-in wardrobe. The kids’ room is furnished with custom-made king-single triple bunk beds and a 6-drawer dresser.
The bathroom includes a toilet, basin, shower, washing machine, and a whole-house water filter for added convenience.
Additional amenities include a hairdryer, iron, and ironing board. The kids will love the large variety of toys, games, and colouring books, plus the under-deck play area (aka the mud bit). There’s also a spacious garden and off-road parking available for your convenience.
RELAX
For a truly relaxing stay, our bach is intentionally free of a TV. There is wifi to connect your own device.
NO PET POLICY
Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate pets, including outdoor dogs, due to allergies.
SAVE $
Our property isn’t listed on booking platforms like Airbnb (though we are a former Airbnb Superhost). Book directly with us to avoid additional costs – no booking fees, cleaning fees or GST!*

A 25% deposit is required to confirm your booking. The remaining balance is due 7 days prior to your arrival date. Invoices will be sent by email.

Please note that this is a family bach, not a commercial rental, so you may notice signs of family use or small imperfections. While the property is professionally cleaned before each stay, the door opens directly into the main living area, so some dirt and dust may accumulate during your visit. All pricing is in $NZD. A valid ID and signed rental agreement are required.
*Our rental income falls below the GST threshold, unlike Airbnb, which is required to charge GST under the new Marketplace GST rules introduced in 2024.
